Light on the Land Workshops

The “Light on the Land” photography workshops began in 2010 as an irregular series of one day and longer workshops aimed at amateur photographers, from the beginner to the experienced.  In recent years the main focus has been the annual week-long workshop in the Flinders Ranges.

Presented by Keith Seidel and Lou Marafioti,  the workshops offer fieldwork, exercises and image review and evaluation sessions. Both Keith and Lou’s aim is that by the end of the workshop you will be inspired by the creative possibilities provided by the workshop locations and subjects, and the skills you have learned or had refreshed during this workshop.

Both presenters believe there are no rules to photography – this workshop is based on testing your ideas with useful tips borne from experience of what works in different situations.

Workshop content is tailored to the experience levels of the workshop participants, from beginners to experienced users of DSLR cameras, to provide creative opportunities to develop your photographic skills and creativity in a range of subjects, with a focus on portraiture and landscape photography.
